New V-Track Increases AL-System Workstation Crane Capacities

EMH AL-System Workstation Cranes are flexible and easily installed for a wide variety of workstation applications with lower capacity requirements up to 2,200 lbs.

Engineered Material Handling (EMH; Valley City, OH), recently introduced its new aluminum V-Track Rail for AL-System Workstation Cranes, providing increased capacity and longer spans. For 1,000-pound installations, the maximum span length increases to 31 feet. The maximum span length for 2,200-pound installations (with a 4 x 4 V-Track) increases to 24 feet, 2 inches.

EMH AL-System Workstation Cranes are flexible and easily installed for a wide variety of workstation applications with lower capacity requirements up to 2,200 lbs. Lightweight aluminum track profiles, exclusive EMH T-Slot design, anodized enclosed rails, and anti-kick-up nylon wheels combine to provide maintenance-free solutions.

AL-System Cranes safely and efficiently accommodate a wide variety of lifters and handling devices. With lightweight aluminum track profiles, AL System Cranes are also easily configured to suit almost any application need. Anodized aluminum extrusions and enclosed rails maximize strength, provide longer durability, and add to aesthetics.

Articulated anti-kick up wheels offer additional advantages. AL System Cranes are articulating, meaning that they are free moving and do not require movement at right angles. In addition, the AL-System Crane’s anti-kick up nylon wheels delivers smooth and safe movement of the trolley inside the enclosed rail.

One of the most important advantages over other lightweight aluminum rail systems is an exclusive EMH T-Slot design for splicing two pieces of rail together. With EMH T-Slot design, installation with a wide variety of integrating equipment, such as lifters and end-effectors, chain hoists or smart lifters, is easier. EMH T-Slot splice design also eliminates bumps when a load is moved over track splices.
